All of our weight-loss programs involve walking.  We also stress flexibility, balance, cardio, and strength training for people who are able to without any medical contraindications.

Our bodies were designed to walk long distances.  When we walk outdoors, we can stay in-touch with nature and the world around us that exists off of television and computer screens.

We feel better when air is moving through our lungs and blood is flowing throughout our bodies.  Walking helps with balance and coordination. It also helps keep our leg muscles toned and shapely.  Walking is also great for core and body stabilization which can prevent falls and accidents.

Walking every day can help keep your metabolism going, keep your heart in great condition, keep unwanted pounds away.

It can be a great  introduction for people who need a good place to jump- start their exercise program.

Walking for 30 minutes per day is a great way to burn calories.  It is also a great way to help with regulating our bowels.

Your walking plan can start simple.  Start with getting comfortable supportive walking shoes and loose clothing.

Begin with as little as 10 minutes of walking per day.

Set goals that are achievable and when you reach them you will feel more confident in other areas of your life.
